One of the MOST exciting emotions when getting a gift is the anticipation ππππ ππππππ you open the box.
Just what is the feeling of “anticipation”?

“Anticipation is excitement, waiting eagerly for something you know is going to happen.”
Anticipation is the emotion we experience when we are expecting something to happen (good or bad), where we are left in a state of anxious suspense.
Some people may feel excited (as when they are handed an unexpected gift!) and others may just feel nervous. Anticipatory concerns are the thoughts we have while feeling anticipation.

There’s just something so βdeliciousβ about the anticipation of wondering what could possibly be inside, as the mind races and tries to guess the contents.
